Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS)
The USDA-NRCS provides technical assistance and conservation program support to land owners FREE OF CHARGE. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), originally called the Soil Conservation Service or SCS, is a permanent federal agency under the United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA). NRCS helps America’s farmers, ranchers and forest landowners conserve the nation’s soil, water, air and other natural resources. NRCS’s natural resources conservation programs help people reduce soil erosion, enhance water supplies, improve water quality, increase wildlife habitat, and reduce damages caused by floods and other natural disasters.
